How to clean your Baritone
Step 1. Take the baritone apart in which, consists of removing the mouthpiece, valves and slides.
Step 2. Fill a container with warm water and add musical instrument soap or even dish soap to it.
Step 3. Soak these instrument parts with the exception of the valves in the soapy water. Let everything soak for approx, 10 minutes.
Step 4. Then, gently rinse the valves with water while thoroughly cleaning them with a valve brush. Once finished that, place the valves on a dry towel to dry.
Step 5. Clean out any tubes and valve bottoms using the snake brush.
Step 6. Once you feel the soaked instrument parts have soaked long enough, take them out of the soapy water and gently place them on a dry towel to dry.
Step 7. Once all of the instruments are dry, place them back into your instrument the same way you removed them.
Reminder
- Make sure everything is dry, inside and out before you place the place them back into your instrument
